It is said the American
Bald Eagle was selected
as our national emblem
because, at one of the first battles of the American
Revolution (occuring early
in the morning) the noise
of the battle awoke the
sleeping eagles from the
heights of their nests.

They flew from their lofts and circled over the heads of the fighting men, all the while shrieking their vent to the battle below. "They are shrieking for Freedom," said the Patriots.

So began the Bald Eagles' symbol of America's Freedom on our shores, and the never ending defense of this Freedom for all who embrace it.

".... In the truest sense, Freedom cannot be bestowed; it must be achieved ...."
  ~ Franklin D. Roosevelt

".... It is easy to take Liberty for granted, when you have never had it taken from you ...."
    ~ Dick Cheney

".... A young man who does not have what it takes to perform Military Service is not likely to have what it takes to make a living. Today's Military rejects include tomorrow's hard-core unemployed ...."
    ~ John F. Kennedy

".... Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
   1) Jesus Christ
   2) The American Soldier
One died for your soul, the other for your Freedom ...."
    ~ Unknown
